Just sent off my FIT reading for the quarter... £733
Almost enough to cover a whole years leccy inc heating/hot water0 -
More than 5 Os yesterday, and 4 Os today, in spite of mist rolling in from the sea early and late. It really does seem to be better to live south of Watford!
Echoing Jeepjunkie, I like to think of the FIT as paying for all the gas and electricity used at Grouser Hall (which it does) - but then, by a subtle sleight of hand, we spend it on something else instead. I believe this is what is meant by double entry bookkeeping.O G  Somewhere on the South Downs

Greetings to Druids everywhere0 -
Today's forecast is pretty similar to what was forecast yesterday. Absolutely no idea whether that will actually result in long sunny spells or if we'll have to switch the lights on to eat lunch.
I guess today's forecast was reasonably accurate
Pretty dull all day with the odd glimmer of sun. 4.2kWh - but of course even that gives twice the financial return of an ISA :beer:NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
2.36 O's here today; interestingly; last year 2012, May - Aug inclusive, managed 120.6 O's this year for the same months did 138.0 O's. Is this 'Global Warming' or good luck.....:beer:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

Just sent off my FIT reading for the quarter. 1368kWh generated. 10% higher than the same period last year.
Thought it might have been a bigger improvement since this year 'we had a good summer' and last year everyone agrees it rained throughout the school holidays, but goes to show perception and facts don't always agree!3.9kWp solar PV installed 21 Sept 2011, due S and 42° roof.
17,011kWh generated as at 30 September 2016 - system has now paid for itself. :beer:0 -
Only 0.83 O's yesterday:(
After the last 5 months being better than last years, Sept's gonna be a stinker.
Still up on total output for the year tho;)16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0 -
