Many a true word spoken in jest....:rotfl:2.92 O's today. Pretty happy...... NOT
2.12 O's for today
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

Mmm. I need just short of a Hornby today to meet my September target. Forget Hornby, I need the whole toy shop! Currently 33kWh's short of target and generating 29W.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Pleased to report that we're almost 10% above pvgis already. Judging from the weather forecasts and the first couple of hours of looking out of the window, I wasn't expecting to generate anything today. Luckily, the Met Office reputation for accuracy remains intact so I wasn't at all surprised to see the sun popping out just now and delighted that we're now doing 2.5 kW:jNE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
Indeed, another short-range forecast wrong as there was constant (though slightly hazy) sunshine for most of the day; 12.95 kWh achieved. I've noticed Tuesday's forecast has been improved during today, so maybe another day like this will appear tomorrow.Judging from the weather forecasts and the first couple of hours of looking out of the window, I wasn't expecting to generate anything today. The dreaded September totals. After two brilliant months, not so brilliant. 157.45 kWh (78.72 O's), 22.8% down on last year, 9.5% below SAF PVGIS. If I want some consolation it's 2.9% above classic PVGIS but I don't normally count that.
Best day: 4th, 11.32 kWh
Worst day: 22nd, 1.35 kWh2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0 -
Expecting virtually nothing today so 11.4kWh was a bit of a bonus.
Brought monthly total up to 324.8kWh against pvgis forecast of 292 hence 11.2% over pvgis
March was 18% below pvgis but every month since has been well above - indeed average of April - Sept was 18% over pvgis :jNE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50
