    5.08 O's :(
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

When the numbers are duplicated, I was away from home and so not able to read the generation meter; so averaged the result over the missing readings.
  • 24kWh yesterday. Bit cloudy this morning which will hopefully blow away :)

Could August be as good as July? Well 20kWh today says so ;)(only another 28 days of the same required).
What was very interesting this evening was seeing my ESE go to shade and the heavens opened but was still sunny, my generation jumped from 86Wh to 258Wh for a good 5 mins before settling back again.

Got to love the rain sometimes:rotfl:
    2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)

Been an interesting start to August, forecast mixed weather, and that's what we got, but more sun than rain. 3 days over target 25.6 (4.59 Os), 20.8 (3.73 Os) & 25.3 (4.53 Os).

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Averaged 19.5 kWh for the first 3 days of August.

Looks like a cracking pay-out next month.

The annual generation is important so to to bring myself back to earth I looked back and my last 10 months pattern has been 6 consecutive months below PVIS (Oct 2012- March 2013) then 4 months above........ I suspect at the end of the year I will be very close to the estimate. Last year I was within 1% of expected generation.

ps the reason I only looked at 10 months is that before that it was one month above 1 below etc
3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch + Solar Immersion installed May 2013, after two Solar Immersion lasting just over the guarantee period replaced with Solic 200... no problems since

Can anyone hazard a guess as to what period of the year is best for PV solar generation and what % of the whole years generation that represents.

    Thanks
