Seriously though, today we've done 5 loads of washing, 2 lots of drying, 2 lots of dishwashing, about half a dozen cuppas and managed to cut the grass(and the kids had tv on ALL RUDDY DAY). Unfortunately it cost me 2kWh from the grid because of those pesky white fluffy clouds that's been floating around today:(

generated 5.75 O's (23kWh) Still am generating a few watts

What you were using a tumble drier on a sunny-ish, breezy day?
the irony here is, folk who have the kind of building that supports panels, also have gardens...

Telling us where 'here' is might be useful when we see your generation statistics !

It's not 'dark' here yet - although generation ceased at around five past nine.

We have one and use it a lot on E7 cheap rate power in the winter. Certainly wouldn't encourage OH to use it at this time of year though - not for any 'green' reason though : it's wired into an off-peak only socket behind the machine so a lot of effort to plug it in elsewhere.

    28.22 kWh today (E= 14.7:j)

Looking forward to another 29 days just like today (but not confidently !)

Near Falkirk, central belt Scotland. I said the other day
    :P

I only ever use my tumble dryer, haven't had a washing line for years and that carrying and pegging nonsense, it's not for me. Then trying to iron the peg marks out....
Saying that, I've fell out with the dryer, it's on some kind of safety warning from Beko, I need to get them out to fit something to it

If you are referring to Tunnels' post, he did not say he used a tumble dryer today; merely that he uses one; keep up !:)
