    1.1 O's yesterday:(
Thought I might hit 500kWh for May, but the last few days ruined it.
Could still be the best ever month if the sun comes out:D

Back from me jollies and got back to a 20kWh generation. Managed to squeeze the dishwasher on while still producing. Luckily a good weekend is forecast too, just in time for the wife to wash all our clothes without the need to purchase any power, lovely jubbly:D

    14.53kWh today, 4.8 Os.

Overall May has not been too bad, 2nd best month since we had the panels at 386kWh for the month. Best ever was July 2012 at 393kWh.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

I wouldn't exactly call myself a 'regular' ( I tend only to post when I've something unusual to report or to give longer term summaries)

A couple of not very exciting days followed by a good day today.
    29th. 5.17
    30th 7.395
    today (31st) 23.78

But even on Wed/Thu, I managed to pump some rainwater with free electricity - albeit only just. Today I've pumped water, run dishwasher, done a load of washing and (just about) cooked tea.

Month: 493.6 kWh (9.7% above pvgis forecast)
    Monthly earnings £239.21 (E = 8.57)

Not quite my best ever generation month, May 2012 was 11.8% above pvgis (and pvgis was actually a little higher too) although this year's price increase means I've earnt 40p less than last May.

What's people's systems for when they take readings? I notice people post 'today's' reading at 9pm ish some days.
Do people take readings at the same time everyday giving you a 24 'day' or read at the same time every evening?

Closed the month with a nice 28.2kWh or 5 O's. Monthly stats are:-

    System: M1 3.58kWp

    Orientation 110° (South -70°)

    Total generation: 419kWh (2012 443kWh) (106% of target 395kWh)

    Generation per kWp: 117.04kWh

    System: M2 2.0kWp

    Orientation 290° (South +110°)

    Total generation: 229.3kWh (113.5% of target 202kWh)

    Generation per kWp: 114.65kWh

    Silly facts:
    - first 500kWh month, and 600kWh month with total 648.3kWh
    - first day over 30kWh, with a 34kWh day
    - first month over PVGIS climate since Dec 2012, with 109%
    - combined systems 648.3kWh (108.6% of target 597kWh)
    - total import for month was 80kWh's
    - estimated export for month 500+kWh's

    Mart
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

I take my readings when the generation has dropped to zero (or sometimes when it's almost zero).

That of course stays the same until generation restarts next morning.

I don't actually take readings at midnight but the ones I use are indeed exactly the same as if I had.

This may confuse you, my reading for yesterday, taken yesterday at 23:00 was:- 5.83 O's the reading I have just taken at 00:15 is exactly the same..........smiley-laughing021.gif However, todays reading, so far is zero....smiley-laughing021.gif

Even more info: last May 2012, I managed 129.6 O's
This May 2013, I only managed 128.44 O's; but this year is up by £3.33p. My Global warming stats for May this year compared to May last, has been reduced by 0.89507% so why are we paying so much for such a small reduction..........:rotfl: smiley-laughing021.gif

The annual increase in terms of money value is zero. All around the world it is official policy to print money and devalue the currency, in an attempt to achieve the impossible - everlasting growth on a finite planet. My main reason for installing PV panels.

In spite of breathing air with a higher level of CO2, than any of our ancestors, we have just "enjoyed" the coldest spring since 1969.

Could it be that the water in the North Atlantic is so diluted by melt water that it is refusing to sink and return to the Gulf of Mexico along the seabed?
