I haven't posted much recently because it's been pretty uneventful, a couple of good days on Saturday and Sunday but today I smashed my all-time record with 13.16 kWh (6.58 O's) and a nice day out at the seaside2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

Thanks Eric, I'm having a few days away with the family on the east coast. With clear blue skies all day since i got here it set me wondering how my systems were performing. Pretty well judging by your generation. Shame the only thing feeding off my free leccy is the freezer and seperate fridge. Looks like it'll all be exported. Oh well, I'll console myself in the knowledge i'm "earning" over a tenner a day:D

Funnily enough, last time I had a few days away we also achieved record outputs !
Another couple of good days since Sat : 25.6 yesterday & 26.7 today. Optiplug has been running my 750W immersion heater for most of the last few days - apart of course from those times when I was managing to use it for cooking , washing machine or dishwasher (all of which are now completely up to date).
Today's generation has put me just over the pvgis forecast for the whole month and every chance we'll generate a little more over next 4 days.
And, wearing my other hat, we've also managed to keep all our rainwater tanks pretty well full up - hopefully ready for the cloudless skies we'll be enjoying during June, July & August (or maybe not).

5.8 O's yesterday - very happy!25.32kw or 6.88 "o's" yesterday, today is pretty similar, production more or less over for today, but 73kw over the bank holiday.
Only had the system installed for 24 days and about 385kw produced, which even with some of the lousy weather is still about 50kw up on predicted.
Very happy monitor watcher so far!
Welcome to you both.
Going down again only 6.84 O's yesterday.....:p2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

A good bank holiday, with 15.5kWh on both Sat and Sunday, dropping to about 12 on the Monday.
Also noticed my meter spinning merrily backwards in the sunshine. A quick Google tells me that I should tell my supplier. British Gas seemed unconcerned, but will change the meter at some point in August. I'm not sure they really understood my problem, at one point asking whether my gas meter was also going backwards - err, no! The chap was also gracious enough to tell me the 'good news, sir, we will do this free of charge'. Too bloody right you will - its your meter!
Anyway, for anyone else supplied by British Gas who wishes to inform them the meter is going backwards, call metering directly on 0800 316 1779 - much quicker than general enquiries number, who, I imagine, would have even less idea what I was talking about. My PV system: South West England, 10x 250Wp Trina Solar panels, Fronius Inverter, South facing roof, 35° pitch with no shading.0 -
I miss seeing my meter spinning backwards. It's not that I object to the metering being fair and charging me what I owe, but I just loved seeing it do it! They replaced mine pretty quickly after I told them when I had the panels installed, though.
I've had my 4kWp due S system in Gloucestershire since 7/9/11, and have just reached the 6000kWh mark.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I can see why none of the regulars have posted yet....
A disastrous day not seen since the 26-03-2013.
1.2 O's today.. Shaffeq where are you? All is forgiven.......honest....:rotfl:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

6 today, 2 Os.
So far for May we are up to output from May 2012 with 3 days remaining.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

Exactly the same here. Got 8 today (1.4 O's), pretty much hitting May target. If we get average for last 3 days, then we'll be about 10% over, but today and tomorrow not great, Friday looks nice, so perhaps 5% over.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

14kWh yesterday.
The good news is my CurrentCost/OptiSmart says i've generated 423kWh in the last 30 days so my May target of 429kWh is in the right ballpark.
Only when I go up the loft for a proper reading at the end of the month will I really know the exact figs are0
