    Thanks Mart, that's what I made it...4.5 kWh/kWp (although the accuracy of that is limited by the fact that my generation meter only shows whole kWh :))

    Wasn't/still not sure where Oscar got 4.05kWp from - that made no sense at all! :think:

    So, in conclusion, the '4.05' bit is wrong and the 'kWp' bit should have been 'kWh/kWp' :D
    That's why I was confused! :wall: :whistle:

    Perhaps he 'accidentally' miss-typed 4.05 (instead of 4.5) to get your generation under his 4.44!!!!!! ;)

    Of course, I'm cowardly attacking him whilst bravely using you as a human shield, since my generation is slightly embarrassing at the moment. :o

    (I suspect I'm in for at least a week of (deserved) abuse now, after my silly Tuesday morning mood. Oscar, is it too late to offer you a :beer:)

    What does'Generation per kWp' mean?

    Generation per kWp is a useful measure for comparing how well systems are performing. It is found by dividing the generation (kWh) of each system by their rated peak generating capacity (kWp). The unit of measurement is kWh/kWp (kilowatt hours per kilowatt peak). kWh/kWp readings can be directly compared, despite the systems being different sizes.

    Example:

    URN Gen(kWh) System (kWp) kWh/kWp

    X 100 4 25

    Y 60 2 30
    Installation X has generated more in total (100kWh), but is a bigger installation.

    Installation Y has generated more per unit size of system (30kWh/kWp against 25kWh/kWp forinstallation X).

    Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    Just clarifying that I had correctly understood the generation/system kWp calculation......

    Rubbish forecast today - unbroken sunshine so far, not at all as forecast yesterday, that's the sort of error I like. Might beat yesterday if it holds up.

    We had quite lot of fog in the morning. .. sun eventually broke through in afternoon and managed just a about 6.69kwh. YES it's KWH

    I did beat yesterday, 9.24kWh (4.62kWh/kWp). That's my best two consecutive days since 8th and 9th September!

    bit better today

    just clicked onto 20 kWh at the end of the day

    Lots of immersion,dishwasher,slow cooker, and halogen heater to soak up the excess ;)

    As ever, weather forecasst were pretty unreliable. They all agreed we'd have some early morning fog but promised it would clear up by 9am, 11am or midday. All three were wrong - it finally cleared at 2pm although we still had thin cloud cover. Having peaked at 2kW, that obviously dropped off as afternoon progressed.

    But in spite of all that, we generated 7.2kWh - somewhat more than 3 x ISA 'loss'.
