For today (i.e. Sunday), BBC & Met Office are both saying cloudy all day. Metcheck are saying some sunny intervals. We're currently having a sunny interval which has lasted about an hour so far but no idea how much longer it will last (no doubt turning on washing machine would bring it to an abrupt end !).
And (as already noted) Metcheck were nearer.

Today (Mon) BBC & Met Office are both expecting significant amounts of sunshine after midday; Metcheck are saying cloudy all day).

Remains to be seen who gets the afternoon right. So far they're all correct in saying "cloudy start" - but I can look out of the window myself and find that out.

By Midday, we'd had an hour of sunshine but it's gone cloudy again. No brownie points for any of the forecasters ! Met Office are still saying I shouldn't have seen any sun yet; BBC are still saying tht it should have been unbroken sunshine since 11 and will continue thus till dusk and Metcheck are still saying I would have had and will continue to have more than 50% cloud.

I'm moderately happy though - we beat the 90p ISA interest 'test' by 11:30 and are presently at 3.09kWh with every chance of generating at least another couple of kWh by dusk.

Here on the Thames Estuary we have had banks of low cloud rolling in on and off all morning after a clear frozen night, however it is now looking like settled bright hazy sunshine and 3kW for the next few hours.

Depending on your point of view, they were all right or all wrong !

After the sky clouded over after our 1 hour of bright sunshine it cleared slightly to give hazy sunshine most of afternoon. BBC & Met Office will no doubt claim it was really sunny but with a little cloud; Metcheck's spin would be that it really was 50% cloud cover but the clouds were very thin ones.

Can't say that I was very impressed by accuracy from any of them.

Final result was 10.25 kWh so I'm not that disappointed
