A great 4.44 kWp result for me today..:rotfl::beer:

Are you sure it's not 4.44 kwh? has to be.

6.14 kwh cloudy in morning then gradually or got sunny. ...

Nah, he generated so much that his whole system swelled up (ouch, gonna feel that in the morning!)

Got 8.8 today, smidge under target, weather forecast was was 4 lovely days to start off March, but all were pretty grey and below average.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

I am sure it was 4.44 kWp. Confident yours was 2.046 kWp; to give you the feel good factor you put 6.14 kWh; work it out......smiley-laughing021.gif Time to get reality on the thread, from me anyway....:rotfl:

Double digits again - 10kWh generated, second time this year!
20kWh generated in the first 4 days of the month (2 ,3 ,5 & 10, so moving in the right direction)
    Things are looking up :D
2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shading
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

If you have a 4kWp power system, which I do not know; but if you have, you only beat my 2.5kWp system by 235W, so don't get too excited...and the big question is; did you use it, or assumed you used it; in order to power your immersion, washing and cooking free...doubt it! :rotfl:

Yeah but no but yeah but no .... without a definition of what has been generated and a time period (Wh) then it all gets a little messy. Bit like saying 'my car is pretty powerful - 100litre', rather than '100mph/litre'.

So 4.44 kWp should presumably have been 4.44kWh/kWp. In fact, maybe even 4.44kWh/kWp today - but I think the time period can be assumed.

Before you wonder, yes I'm being totally pedantic, even childish, but I assure you it's not because you beat [STRIKE]smashed[/STRIKE] my 1.58kWh/kWp (4/3/13), nor is it because I'm jealous as my shallow E/W panels aren't great at this time of the year (bleeding south facing steepers!), nor (can you have two nors?) is it because the weather forecast suggested I'd get more than twice what I did.

No, certainly not because of any of that! :o

    Mart.

Hiya Jackie, don't worry, Oscar's just being difficult!

    ........

Nah, I'm not going to get away with that, in fact he's totally correct to adjust generation to size of install, so taking yesterday as an example:

you got 10kWh's, and I got 8.8kWh's so pretty similar performance, and I'm happy to end the comparison there. Thank you, nothing to see, move along.

But if we look a little deeper, you got 10kWh's from a 2.22kWp system. So it actually generated 10/2.22 = 4.5kWh's per kWp.

    Whereas mine generated 8.8/5.58 = 1.58kWh/kWp.

So you can now clearly see why Oscar should be ignored! ;)

Thanks Mart, that's what I made it...4.5 kWh/kWp (although the accuracy of that is limited by the fact that my generation meter only shows whole kWh :))

Wasn't/still not sure where Oscar got 4.05kWp from - that made no sense at all!

So, in conclusion, the '4.05' bit is wrong and the 'kWp' bit should have been 'kWh/kWp' :D
That's why I was confused! :wall:
