But if I use the generation meter data it States I generated 10.82 kwh today.. so you lot decide what the generation is today lol
Go with GM Shaff; that's what counts for payments: that's what you should use at the last reading of your stats on pay date..:)We are on economy 7 as we are all electric so instead of using the cheaper night time electric for the dish washer, immersion etc we used the free stuff. So pleased I just keep on smiling
Get yourselves a Wattson, Def the way to go.. irrespective of what you have been told; seeing is belief.;) (New software is Fab; coming very soon).:D
7.0 kWh not too bad for a day in February - £3.29p in the Hols kitty ....from a small system..:rotfl:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

A perfect day for generation in cider country, no cloud all day, no shading, cool breeze and lots of photons! Best day of generation since 27th October with a ........
15.3kWh!!
Get in there my son!
The Immersun clocked up 9kWh too, lots of hot water in the tank!Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

Interesting; I had no cloud early A.M. Then after 13:30 it became cloudy, so I lost out with a SSW system as oppose to SSE. That's the way the 'cookie crumbles', G** Da** it..:A2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

For my self I was going to use the GM figures but not sure why such a big difference between the inverter and the GM.
Wherec is the best place to get wattson meter0 -

At the end of the day GM is the acceptable and only true meter for your readings for your payments under the FIT scheme.
Wattson from my experience, is the best, good, on the market 'Anorak' information sensor on what your bills, generation, home usage, usage of genaration and savings are etc. when you have a PV system. The new Holmes software, which is a free download, is an innovation, beyond belief.
Where is the best place to buy one? Leave it with me, I will PM you.
Edit: All inverters, are 'economical with the truth'.2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

12.52 kWh today, clear blue sky all day. Timers were set for the apppliances so that I could go out! We are on economy 7 as we are all electric so instead of using the cheaper night time electric for the dish washer, immersion etc we used the free stuff. So pleased I just keep on smiling
What is the output of your panels at Saturday's peak (not an instantaneous peak but the average over say 10 minutes) ?
Your immersion may well draw 3,000 watts ?
That said have you considered charging up a smaller storage heater to use up the excess power?0 -
Yesterday was just spectacular - we are back to drip feed today around 450 w. The output of our panels yesterday was around 2.5 kWh for several hours and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We pay about 7p for each night time unit so as far as I was concerned it was a good use of the surplus free leccy for us. I had done all the washing, baking, etc. We are looking at a lower power immersion heater and many other options, it's all new to us. The Wattson is being considered too. Topping up a storage heater is a consideration. Thanks everyone for being so helpful.:hello:0

Back to Earth with a bump. 0.77kwh today....0

Back to Earth with a bump. 0.77kwh today....
I'll second that bump, got 1.5, but a mighty 9.6 yesterday, which is really good for my off south shallow panels. Tomorrow looks like it could be good too, also Wed and Fri - hmm ... one on, one off. Oh well, more fun that way I suppose!
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Of course, at this time of year every day has potential to be better than previous one
I knew that; you probably did too. Alas, whoever organises our cloud delivery doen't seem to realise !
Just 1197Wh today. Drops the average for Feb quite a bitNE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50
