I've had my panels for just over a week now, and one thing I've found interesting is how much the output can vary on two apparently clear days.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

Temperature is a big factor, the higher the temperature, the lower the output.
Thanks for that, I think there's only been a couple of degrees in it really in the last week. And the higher peaks were actually on slightly warmer days if anything.
I'll keep an eye.Temrael

Wind and the direction that its coming from will also help. Some of my best days have been sunny and windy with wind coming from the north.

Hi All,
Just a quicky please .....
Am I correct in my figure of 54.17 per kWh for the FIT rate as of today ( panels installed Nov 2011 blah blah blah ) ?
Cheers

I generated 68.73 O in March (according to the meter, the inverter gives a slightly different figure), but it was only a partial month as the installation was completed on the 11th. The week of sun at the end of the month helped a lot with that though.
At 5.4 O today.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -

Sounds right, I can only find last year's rate of 52.75p and an RPI uplift of 2.7%, which would give 54.17p.
Hiya, it has been published for a while, but you needed to use logic, cunning and blind luck to find it.
Start here, then click on the spreadsheet, then select either pre Apr 2012 tab (there are 2), then search for retrofit 0-4kW
If you follow those breadcrumbs, you will find the number [STRIKE]42[/STRIKE] 54.17. :wall:Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
