I've had my panels for just over a week now, and one thing I've found interesting is how much the output can vary on two apparently clear days.
Temperature is a big factor, the higher the temperature, the lower the output.

I suspect that was 49% over (mine was 35% over).

Thanks for that, I think there's only been a couple of degrees in it really in the last week. And the higher peaks were actually on slightly warmer days if anything.

    I'll keep an eye. :)

Wind and the direction that its coming from will also help. Some of my best days have been sunny and windy with wind coming from the north.

This March has been my best by a long way and has had sunny windy days.

Whereas down south it has been one of my worst, beaten by 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

I generated 68.73 O in March (according to the meter, the inverter gives a slightly different figure), but it was only a partial month as the installation was completed on the 11th. The week of sun at the end of the month helped a lot with that though.

    At 5.4 O today.

Sounds right, I can only find last year's rate of 52.75p and an RPI uplift of 2.7%, which would give 54.17p.

Hiya, it has been published for a while, but you needed to use logic, cunning and blind luck to find it.

Start here, then click on the spreadsheet, then select either pre Apr 2012 tab (there are 2), then search for retrofit 0-4kW

If you follow those breadcrumbs, you will find the number [STRIKE]42[/STRIKE] 54.17. :wall:
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

That was the first place I looked but I gave up before you!
