Achieved just over 94% of PVGIS estimate for March, but still the 2nd best March since install.

Poor start to March, but made up by last weeks sunshine.

Managed to use just over 52% of generation, using the heat pump a lot more than usual, cutting gas consumption by more than half, compared to last March when we had the beast from the east.

Good day today, 4 O's, filling up the EV with free sunshine!

Reasonable start to April with 25 kWh and 3.2 Os. Good to make PVGIS on first day of the month but the next few days don’t look so promising.

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Some time ago I posted a message explaining how to do just that. I think it was somewhere in this thread but not really inclined to search through all 22,450 messages to find it.

Briefly, the figure shown for April would be a good estimate for the 15th. To get a good estimate for the 1st, you'd need to take the average of March & April; To get a good estimate for the 30th, you'd need to take the average of April & May. Having done that, you can get a good estimate for the 7th or 8th by taking average of your (new) figures for 1st & 15th or to get a figure for 22nd average 15th & 30th figures. With enough steps, you can probably get 30 individual results for April but you'd not gain much over getting figures for 1, 7, 15, 22 & 30 then using each one for a few days before & after the individual day.

HTH (even if it's only by putting you off the idea of bothering :D )

I was already thinking along those lines........... i'll stick in on the to-do list...... sadly, its a long list at the moment.

    3.37 O today, 102% of PVGIS..... a good start.

Hiya, it has been published for a while, but you needed to use logic, cunning and blind luck to find it.

Start here, then click on the spreadsheet, then select either pre Apr 2012 tab (there are 2), then search for retrofit 0-4kW

If you follow those breadcrumbs, you will find the number [STRIKE]42[/STRIKE] 54.17.
54.17 is of course just the FIT element. If you want to know how much you're actually getting you also need to add on the export (whether actual or deemed). That will either be 3.82 pence per metered unit or 1.91 pence per generated unit if you're deemed to export 50%.

For working out daily earnings, I would therefore need to multiply actual generation by 56.08pence.
