1.125 O's today:D
Nov total = 105.8kWh. Did not feel like a good month but it's my 2nd best Nov ever:T16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0 -
Well today was the first time for 2 weeks I've hit PVGIS with 1.94 O's which means I'm currently at 82% of PVGIS this month. On the plus side today has made this the best year since installation and I still have December to go.0

Could have been worse, closed Nov with 110kWh and 91% of target.
Already at 102.8% of yearly target, and if Dec is average, that'll rise to 105%.
Imported 206kWh, and total consumption 267kWh, with a lot of heat pump use, so gas consumption is very low so far this quarter.
According to the long term forecast, the sun will reappear on the 8th, so looking forward to that.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

I alas, finished November with 25% less than pvgis forecast (92kWh rather than the 'expected' 122.5 hence £50 rather than £65 ). But quite happy 'to take the rough with the smooth' and even the miserly £50 is a much better income than the current pathetic ISA rates.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50

It is interesting how your panels have outperformed mine relative to PVGIS. I don’t know exactly where you live but you are not a million miles away. I suspect that Solar Edge is partly responsible. I note though that you have 10% shading.
I do have a bit of shade this time of year, some from trees in my own garden from about 2.30pm onwards and also from a huge Lleylandii in a neighbours garden for 45 minutes between 8.05 and 8.50am. I don’t know whether I should adjust the PVGIS estimate to reflect this. In September some other trees in the west interfere in the evening but to a lesser degree. As the extent of shading varies depending on time of year I would find it difficult to calculate it as a percentage.
Do you adjust your PVGIS estimate take this into account?
I live in the Capital of the Wolds. My shading is caused by the house next door. The rear of my house faces about 10 degrees off south and the one next door faces about 35 degrees off south. Their house is slightly higher and has a steeper roof which starts to cast a shadow on my roof from around 16:30 on the summer equinox. The only other shading comes from my TV aerial and the Toilet waste pipe from the bathroom, but that is very minimal.
The estimate of shading comes from 2 surveyors when I was getting quotes. 1 had some handheld device the other had what looked like a protractor on the end of a ruler. 1 said 9 degrees and the other said 11 degrees so I split the difference.
I mentioned SE to another installer as I had a shading issue and he said I had no shading so I took him out in the garden at 18:30 and the whole roof was in shade from next door but he still insisted I had no shading.
I have adjusted my estimate because of the shading because its constant everyday until I get round to inviting a few RE Sapper friends round and we have fun with shaped Semtex charges! :rotfl: I do miss molding plastic explosive's and blowing things up for fun.:D Great 30 months that was!
I think the extra money I paid for the SE was and will always be worth it.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -

Ah, that explains a lot. I simply use the PVGIS figure whole. Though to be fair, with Solaredge my generation tends to be close to 100% pa anyway, despite quite a bit of shading.Mart. Just checked my generation for November, a pretty average month but interestingly it had the best November day since we had our panels installed in 2011! 11.755kWh which equates to 3.92 Os.
Nov was 14% above PVGIS (124 vs 109kwH) but the numbers for that are consistently low for us, generally by about 20% for the year.

So far we're at 3227kWh vs PVGIS of 2665 so 121% of predicted for 2018.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
256 Kwh against target of 208.
123% of PVGIS.
5030 KWh generated this year with December to go.
How did some of you scrape barely half that from the same size system?16 265w panels South facing, 45 degrees, West Norfolk.0 -
