Trees & Windfarms always look nice, close to somebody else..:D

im sure it does, the tree i see looks ugly.

i got bill today. my energy usage since June is 35kwh(due to meter goes back). npower are estimating my elec use for year will be 318kwh.

my current tariff finishes on 26 nov. so i need to change tarif. Npower still works out cheaper. but if i take gas and elec with npower, not as dual fuel but by individually it works out cheaper rather then dual fuel. of course i am using higher figures for elec usuage.

  • The law of unintended consequences applies if you let any tree (other than a fruit tree) grow on your land. I know of someone who wanted to build a house in his 1.5 acre garden, so the local council tried to stop the plans by imposing a tree preservation order on every stick in the garden, all 10 of them.
Then October 1987 came and demolished a truly massive oak tree opening up a path into the garden, large enough for a double decker bus. The two houses taken together are worth millions.

[There was a huge tree overlooking Sydney harbour that a neighbouring house owner poisoned - so it was covered in old sacking to make a point]

Made 6.6kWh today. :p This year so far have done 6.6kWh.:)
Target for year end: 2499 kWh & £1,168.68p + :rotfl:

Come on Oscar, that's defeatist talk, (Shirley) the target has got to be 2,500kWh?

Well I got 6.9 yesterday, rather a messy number, so got 0.1 today to help round it up.

Still, those 4 good days are now 2 days nearer (tues to fri) and still looking very nice. If Tomorrow and Monday aren't too bad, then there is still hope of sneaking back on target.

Hope everyone is safe, there's a hell of a lot of water out there!

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
