Greetings from drought-ridden Sussex - not a single shower so far this April! We're dreaming of a wet Easter....
I've finally got round to putting the 2073 days of generation for my 3.29kW/p panel array into a table and playing about with it. The figures are for a point inland but within sight of the sea on the Sussex Downs. Since late July 2011 there has been a Hawaii (or better) on one day in five (413 days, 19.92% of the total). The distribution was: February 8; March 52; April 54; May 61; June 53; July 66; August 58; September 45; October 16. The other months failed to score.
I had not expected there to be quite so many Hawaiis. As I thought, the first half of the year was better than the second half, but not by as much as I anticipated it would be. Oh, and I think it's drier and sunnier in the South East than it is in the North or West - but I'd be happy to be proved wrong!O G  Somewhere on the South Downs

Greetings to Druids everywhere0 -
Very mixed day. Sharpe spikes. Lots of wind kept the production high when the Sun showed.
4.7 O's
59.4 % of estimate at the midway point in the month.
Looking back on the last 2 years production has been better in the 2nd half of the month. Trust that will continue.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -

Myself....well, I'm on track for over 100% PVGIS this month(much to the dismay of my FiTs provider) and have hit 4 Hawaii's in total so far in April(not rubbing it in Mr O....honest)
Always good to see good customer support too, let's hope all the other inverter manufacturers come good on their warranties as/if/when they go to the graveyard in the sky.
