Renewables: "talking 'bout my generation"

Think of deficit/surplus as being the difference between someone's monthly income & expenditure through their bank account, with debt/credit being the current bank account balance ..... if they, or someone else with previous permission to access to their bank account has entered into long term expenditure contracts which can't easily be afforded then although other expenditure may be cut extensively, as long as the contract payment still exists it may be hard/impossible to reduce outgoings to a position where a monthly surplus exists which can be used to reduce the debt ... this is the very situation that the government finds itself in - effectively the 'morinic' element in play is that the state of the public finances, long term expenditure commitments and extortionate PFI deals resulting from previous governmental incumbants wasn't fully understood prior to announcing a plan to rectify the position ....

repeat of yesterday 4.7 O's again. advice if possible please having new kitchen fitted do i go for induction hob or gas please.
all advice gratefully received, thankyou
We switched to induction, just before PV went in, in 2011. I think the rule (theory?) is leccy for hobs, gas for ovens, as a huge amount of gas hob heat escapes.
As others have said, you also get extra worktop space if your kitchen is small. It's also nice to have cooler surfaces near the hob, and to be able to leave metal spoons in, as they aren't (sneakily) heated up the side of the pan.
Having west panels, we get extra use from PV, but depends on season. But PV certainly contributes to a lot of hob cooking.
If in doubt, why not buy a portable induction hob, 1 or 2 rings, now and have a play, they are pretty cheap.
2.78 O's yesterday, solid gen all day, even a bit at 7am and 5.50pm.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Our 'real' 4 ring (ceramic but not induction) hob needs replacing soon (1 ring doesn't work at all, another doesn't control) so have ordered one of these @£35 from Maplins

Local collection this morning.
Should allow us to try out Ind hobs before we order a permanent replacement but always handy to have an extra ring so it won't be wasted whether we go for another ceramic or an induction.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

best day ever at 4.7 O's (18.7kWh) 50% (150kWh) of target for March...imagine if the cost of 4kWh PV system comes down to around £2.5K, almost everyone would have it on their roofs but then it would never be allowed cause of the clout the energy companies have all over the world.3.99KW SunEdison (14 * 285W) all black, SolarEdge inverter, iBoost+, 27 Oct 2015, London

Can I connect an oil filled radiator to my iboost second output and if so what kind?.
I have a 700w small one and a 600/900/1500w one.
Anyone using the second output?.
Seem to get a tank of hot water by mid day now.4kWp, South facing, 16 x phono solar panels, Solis inverter, Lincolnshire.0 -

I have a 600/900/1500w delonghi one with the max output (1500W) setting selected on the radiator. Very useful on cold and sunny days like last few days (not today though)3.99KW SunEdison (14 * 285W) all black, SolarEdge inverter, iBoost+, 27 Oct 2015, London
