no working immersion but would like new tank and immersion installed, what would you recommend iboost or immersun please. it is a 3.13 kwh south facing system would all this money spent on this items be worth it please?
any advice would be greatly received
    thankyou
I did a bit of math for myself
My tank had cost me £750 and iBoost £200.
On good days my iBoost uses around 3-4Kw but usually around 2-3Kw.
With sun shining each and every day and diverting around 3KW to my tank - It would take around 8 years to break even. Assuming -I'm using peak electricity of 12p/kw to heat water, if you are using gas - they pay back time would be even longer.

Thanks for that calculation: Problem for me is, install of new gas boiler with an immersion add on being around £3K; from your findings it would be 32 Years pay back
