Just reading through today's posts and in response to knowing when the Iboost has done its job. Mine says HOT on the display. When it has water heating off then it isn't diverting to the tank because there isn't surplus electricity. I have the newer Iboost.

I said I would report back on this issue. Just checked my iBoost and mine says "water heater hot". So please ignore my recent post where I stated that the iBoost said "water heating off" when there is a full tank of hot water. I must of been having a senior moment when I wrote that post.

Lovely weather here today with sun and cloud. Should be a good generation day. Yay!!

An immersion heater turning OFF doesn't necessarily show that tank is full of hot water. Unless there's a de-stratification pump in use, a top mounted heater might switch off when the top third is hot but the bottom two thirds stone cold. Probably not really worth the expense of a destrat just to ensure full use of free electricity but I thought it worth mentioning the non-sequitur.
