Just reading through today's posts and in response to knowing when the Iboost has done its job. Mine says HOT on the display. When it has water heating off then it isn't diverting to the tank because there isn't surplus electricity. I have the newer Iboost.

Yes, for instance my Iboost stopped heating the tank any more this afternoon and first press of the display scroll tells me it had diverted 7.25 Kwh to DHW today.

A great piece of kit :)

You have got me thinking about that now. We have had ours about a year. This afternoon for instance it read water heating off and it was glorious sunshine outside and was like that all morning. We certainly was not using the generated leccy in the house during the day so it would have been diverted to the tank and when the tank was hot it would then be exported. I'll definitely check it again on the next sunny day and report back.

    Edwink ;)
