Got back today from 10 days away, just been punching the numbers into the spreadsheet from the Solo PV.

We're currently on course to beat PVGIS by 22%. All our 7day, 14day and 30day moving averages are now 15-16kWh/day.

No new records while we were away, our best day is still 22.4kWh.

The garden's looking much greener than it was at the end of March thanks to April living up to it's usual changeable weather.

Am I going insane, or has Seagull disappeared? Where'd he go, and where have all his posts gone?

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Just like Anders Behring Breivik, you are not insane. It seems he is not extinct, but may have just flown away; all posts since October 2009 have just vanished.

Solar production is also a wash-out today - just 955 Wh produced so far.

Had a large spike in the afternoon, so finished on 3.43 kWh.

Gen here bouncing between 50W and 3.5kW!!! Doubt the days total will be impressive.

Managed to contact Seagull (never underestimate the 'Tafia'), either he's seriously upset MSE, which is doubtful, given his good nature, or he's been hacked. He can't log in, and all recent posts, links, thanks etc have gone. Hope he's able to get back soon.

Maybe 'they' just found out he was Welsh! In which case, I'm sure I qualify as English under the one grandparent rule?

OK so who's going to have the worst generation total today (as a %age of kWp?) I thought I was struggling when I was barely getting 100W in the morning, but then I found I was averaging around 65W for all of my peak hour! On course to be a record low by far with only 835Wh clocked up so far.

Ended up with a paltry 1.16 kWh (so, 29.6%). It rained for the entire period, so I think some of the light must have been misdirected due to refraction. I guess this is a taste of what generation will be like on an overcast day in December.

1.78kWh generated out of estimated 13.00kWh (i.e. 14%) here in glorious Devon. :(
I need to generate 38kWh tomorrow to reach the total April estimate. :rotfl:

Well despite the awful weather recently I only need 3.5kWh to hit the April PVGIS (2kWp system) and there is some sun forecast for tomorrow morning so I should just do it.

Using your method I got 113% today. My lowest ever, in December, worked out at 7.5%.

We've already beaten PVGIS, but only by 5% thanks to the woeful weather over the past week. Yesterday was a pitiful1.4kWh (12% of PVGIS daily estimate for April). It was the 6th day we've produced <5kWh, we've not got into double figures for 12 days this month.

To put April's performance in context though, we've generated exactly the same amount (with 1 day to go) as we made in March, when we beat PVGIS by 50%.
