2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

I've done some calculations based on your previous consumption per day, your generation per day and your (import+export) per day which your meter has been incorrectly adding together.
    ...
So in other words, your meter has been over-reading by 5.75kWh/day on average, and should be recording 12.25kWh per day. This means you are exporting on average 54% of your generation, which seems reasonable.

    Thanks again sly_dog_jonah

I've now finally got round to using your calculations with some more accurate figures from our system to hone the results further.

As we switched dual-fuel suppliers 3 months into the PV year 1, I wanted to see the total for the 9 months as well as the total for the first quarter and the subsequent half year.

I think the figures I've found have justified my not accepting the offer of 6 units per day from Ovo, especially as it would only have covered the period of their supply - 6 of the 9 months.:rotfl:

Basically under E.ON we were overcharged by an average of 3.440 kWh units of electricity usage per day (88 days).:(

Under Ovo we're still being charged for an extra 7.925 kWh units per day (205 days so far).

Even including a mediocre Sat & Sun last weekend, this has to be one of the best weeks of the year for us: 13, 12, 19, 20, 21, 22, 22 - 130 kWh for 7 days.
    :j

We're now 80% above the PVGIS climate figures for Sept so far.
There's a lot of the month to go but at least this weekend looks good too!
    :rotfl:

Oh and we were 5% up on August figures, not bad given the Met Office AnomAct figures are out for the month and showed 90 - 110% of the average sunshine for our area.

Wishing everyone a great, sunny w'end!

    edit ...
We've now had 20.454 kWh today - another good day.
That brings the last 7 days (including today) to 137 units, an average of 19.6 kWh per day.
If we beat 16 units tomorrow, Sunday, then the total for the 7 days, Mon - Sun will be more than 140 units - 20 kWh per day. That will then beat the best week we had so far - the scorcher at the end of March!

Another cracking day - 11.66kWh. One more day of this before return to normal September weather but my daily PVGIS (climate) estimate for September is only 5.8 so I'd be fairly happy to stay around there.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.
