    Hi Oscar

At this time of year orientation (as long as generally southerly) doesn't make that much difference in clear sky conditions. As you have a decent full curve any change in orientation towards south would simply move the curve to the left on the graphic, moving the length of time when the panels aren't in direct sunlight from morning to evening, so effectively almost everyone would have suffered the same (at some point) from yesterday's clear skies ...

    Hi Zeupater,

Appreciate what you say. My best day for gen was the 7th. June (7.44O's). The first 5 hrs; made .54 kWh. Yesterday first 5 made .41kWh. My ideal this time of year is high thin cloud for the first 5 - then clear sky until sunset...:D . Worse case is clear until 12:00; then becomes overcast. Not that I chase every single Watt......coffee.gif

I've just shared Tunnels downpour - though inverters didn't quite shut down (bottomed @ 180W). Dark conditions lasted just over half an hour but with what appeared to be a cloudier sky after the sunshine came back the inverters were 400W higher than they'd been just before the storm.

And of course I've got an extra couple of days of WC flushing under my belt.

Other than when the panels were covered in snow, I think my inverter has only shut down once during the day in 4 years, so it must be pretty rare.

Suns still out only pulling in around 190 Wh and the graph is going down.

    Hawaii + .39 (21.41 kWh)

Covered in cloud from 15:30 just as we were about to lay out in the sun. The sun came back out around 17:30

Not as hot here today as it was yesterday.

    Squeezed out a Hawaii - just....5.04

Interestingly the inverter claims total output about 2.5% higher than the meter - is this normal?
    I think....

    Hi

We have the same issue, maybe even worse considering that the pv roof is close to WSW .... orientation works well for us most of the year for usage but it pretty much scuppers the chance of any decent generation figures in the winter ...
