He'd not even considered the other roof!! Looked a bit surprised when I suggested it. And he's just chucked away his old boiler and hot tank for a new combi - crazy foo!4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -

Ovo emailed me today asking me to send them my export reading. I have asked why. Perhaps it's connected with on-line metering. Or could they be moving me off deemed 50% export?I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -

Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Although a smart meter is a very handy GIZZMO; it is very intrusive. Think you will find that you only get paid now for your actual export, in your case, export ain't much.... @ 3p per kWh...:mad::eek: If you have Solar PV, avoid as long as possible if you are able to utilize what you generate...;)
Only managed a/an Hawaii + 1.64 O's....Rekon I have about another three - four weeks to hope for a SPUD.....:cool:..
