Mine was 2017 kWh to the end of July. Pre-Solar I would use 2671 kWh per year. (No heating included, all Gas C/H :eek: )2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Eon say we were 18% down on 2011 last year
and 20% down ???????this year so far on 2012(with some cold months to come) Used 1560kWh this year til now.
Pre PV we were over 4000kWh a year:D

Pre solar, our consumption was about 2,700.
With ESE system in Aug, but switch from gas hob to induction in June, 2011 came in at 2,400.
With WNW added end of July, 2012 came in at 1,850.
2013 with all systems in place, looks like being about 1,600.
Getting there slowly. Looking at a new telly now, 42 inch and 'only' about 50W to 60W .... wow!
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

I swapped last year, went from my power hungry plasma that ate 350W an hour to an lcd that takes a more modest 84W an hour. Pre solar we were using 7500kWh a year and are now down to 3-3500kWh.
I've no idea which my lower consumption is due to but reckon the tv saves me at least 1000kWh a year on its own. The "A" rated dryer probably the same and washer maybe 500.

Blow it! I don't and haven't owned a telly since 1988, so no savings there!

Now I've returned to the UK I've found my house - I rented out to a housing association - to be a shambles [no carpets, ruined kitchen tiles, worktops, disappeared loft ladder, greenhouse! etc, etc. ...} with a condemned gas hob!
I've put the wheels in motion to get PV - bad timing I know - and intend to get an induction hob to replace the gas, and was wondering on peoples' experiences.
Incidentally, I haven't got myself floor coverings, a hob or a car yet and have been reading the bangernomics thread with interest, but think I give the lie to the oft-repeated accusation that PV is only for well-off people.0
