Fog at Heathrow now (15/3/12) - anybody confirm?

Just had a call to say my BA flight today to LHR has been "cancelled due to fog". (and the weather on the BAA LHR flight page says "59 & sunny"! Can't see anything on the LHR website or the BA website and google returns news articles from Nov 2011. Am I being told a fib?

Thanks for all your replies. Have now reached LHR and find my (rebooked) Frankfurt flight delayed. Honestly!
