Hi everyone.
Just thought I ought to check in. I've not been around for a while and it's starting to take it's toll on my debt levels. Since Christmas I've been annoyingly static at around the £25K mark and don't seem to be able to make any progress.
I'm revisiting the spreadsheets again though (as they too are looking somewhat neglected) and aiming for a new start with next payday (I'm hoping for some extra in my pay packet to kick start me again). Have also applied for the M&S low life of balance card as I'm just a bit rubbish with 0% deals. Fingers crossed that I get it but I'm not holding out much hope.
How's everyone doing on here? Where are Fishy, Obi, Scottish Spendaholic, Elantan and Moozie? Anyone heard from them?
Mola x

Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

Hey Lynz!
I do know that you're off onto better things these days! I've caught bits of your updates and keep meaning to congratulate you properly. I know it's early days in the job hun but look after yourself won't you. It seems like you're doing mighty long hours there.without positivity you'll get nowhere
I know, I know. I'm just so tired! Working ridiculous hours again (until 1am last Sunday) and I don't get paid for it, it's part of being a manager where I am. My boss has an inability to make a decision on getting us some admin support. Well I'm making that decision for him this week and drafting the JD this weekend. That way he can't refuse.
I might then be able to get on with some clicks, surveys and all that other nice stuff but it's all on hold right now.turning into a right moneywasting expert
But I bet you're not wasting anywhere near as much as you would have done before you found MSE. I'm right aren't I? Somethings just become too much of a way of life!!
Take care hun. Don't push yourself too hard. Mola xxDebt Free Nerd No. 89, LBM: April 2006, Debt at highest (Sept 05): £40,939.96

Hmmm, well, I'm sure no one's interested but I'm going to update anyway. If only for posterity. I haven't achieved the two no spend days in a row but I'm not too bothered.
However....
I had a modest pay rise today. I think it works out about £80 a month more, I think.... But it's better than a slap in the face with a wet fish.

Well done on the pay rise! £80 will put a dent in the debt - over a year worth £960! Should bring your DFD a little closer?!
Hope you get remotivated again- I have, after falling off BIG style since my original LBM last March - took me til this January to clamber back (£2000 more in debt)...
Look forward to seeing more from you and yes, we ARE interested.
