Curry:
• 1 red onion, finely sliced
• 4 tbsp of the red curry paste
• 400ml coconut milk
• 600g pre-cooked Turkey
• 2 tsp fish sauce
• Handful mangetout
Any idea what is meant by "fish sauce"
Thanks peeps!0 -
it's a South-East Asian condiment, kinda similar to light Soy Sauce. you can get it in Halal shops, Chinese supermarkets, delis & some supermarkets. good stuff, much nicer than it sounds

Hi all, I’m looking for a tried and tested recipe for Thai Green Chicken Curry. I have a freezer overflowing with chicken breasts, a tin of coconut milk in the cupboard, and I always seem to end up with green chillies going to waste because Lidl sell them in mixed bags and I only use the red ones.
I’ve also got a ready-meal-style packet of Thai Sticky Rice to eat it with  though it may not be enough to go with a multi-portion curry, so a recipe for HM Thai Sticky Rice would also be helpful.
Something that could be done in the SC (the curry I mean, not the rice!) would be ideal but not vital.
Any thoughts? (CQ, do you do Thai at all?)
