As a regular at the car boots you get to know some of the people and where they shop. If there is a clearance on you will see it the following weekend for sale. Saw a fight in M&S one day with a woman who has a stall at a local car boot and a woman who wanted a bargain for her own use. Had taken the same garment from different sides of the rail. Upsetting part is that some people need to try and shop cheaply and they are making a profit out of it.
Good point, some of us need to try and buy as cheaply as we can and other take advantage and sell on for a profit, but unfortunately that's the world we live in:heart2:Mummy to a beautiful little girl:heart2:

I have to admit that I am an awful greedy person, when boots had their 75% off & still 3for2 toys I brought loads and sold the two that I paid for at the 75% off price and the third free one I put in a box for my daughters for Christmas everyone was happy and without doing this I wouldn't be able to afford to buy them much this year.0

Hi, I just have joined this forum, and I have an interesting experience to share!
No wonder I can't find any good bargains at the Superdrug Kilburn London branch (yes, it's London Karma again). I popped in this morning and this is what I found instead of 10p bargains! Basically the employees were hiding all the good bargains in a box behind the counter and when till wasn't busy they checked them out themselves. I was amazed that one employee was buying at least 50 items in front of me. I asked the other cashier what he was buying and she said it is on the shelf over there and nooooo of course they were not on sale at the shelves because he was buying them all. I was so disgusted at the employees behind this scheme because there were a few more shopping bags hiding behind the counter! So I was wasting my time after reading this thread hoping for some good bargains.
I went in York branch and the checkout girl even told me the staff took it all she said they'd took some kylie sparkle ?!0 -
Hey guys has anyone had any luck buying 10p items online? I ordered 3 dove mens wash bags, just had an email saying there was a problem with my order, phoned up and confirmed my details and the guy said they should be with me in the next few days but i'm still dubious?0

It was christmas eve my order confirmation says 13:57, was literally only there for less than a minute to be fair and now it's gone up to £7.990

For your information, someone had already kindly mentioned this in a posting somewhere and I did not want to repeat this. AND I had thanked that person for it too. I just thought as I was out and about anyway that morning, thought I'd grab 2 of each box-sets just to give to a younger niece and nephew, who might like to try it out. Would not dream of giving it away gift wrapped at that price either, as would be far too embarrassed.
Anyway, for those of you who did manage to get hold of these bargains well done:)
Why would you be embarrassed to wrap it and give it as a gift? Just because you got it cheaply? I have given plenty of gifts that were grabbits, bought at a fraction of the RRP. I usually give extra too as I can afford to treat people more for the same money. A bargain is nothing to be ashamed of7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Most people wouldn't know they were 10p would they.
You could have paid full price.0
