I'm new, so be nice! I know there has been a previous 10p sales thread but I dont know how to find it!
Went in to my superdrug this morning (port talbot, wales), and got quite a few gifts sets for 10p:
- TOWIE mascara and lip gloss set (£3.99)
- TOWIE 3x lip glosses (£3.99)
- 'Cars' bubble baths (large-ish car)
- So body sprays, set of 4 (£3.99)
and then quite a lot of sets for 49p
hope that helps someone xx0 -

We had 10p impulse gift sets. I got there as soon as shutters were opening and everything was gone except a few brush sets within 20 mins:heart2:Mummy to a beautiful little girl:heart2:
£2014 in 2014 challenge. £71/£20140 -
I was browsing the Superdrugs website yesterday and noticed that a Doves Gift Set at 10p and a Nivea Gift Set at 10p as well (don't know if this was a travel gift pack) but it was sold out:(:(, so I thought that I'd go early this morning. Unfortunately at 9am the store wasn't even open yet and funny enough the Christmas opening times was not displayed on the glass doors either, walked away and thought I'd try later.
Went back around 10am again, checked on the shelf for both the gift boxes and it was already sold out:mad::mad: enquired with the shop floor assistant, who informed me that somebody came in at 9.30 (when the store opened) and bought 23 boxes, and another person bought 16 boxes. I mean that is just plain GREEEEDY, was fuming inside and yet I just wanted only 2 of each set.Why don't they put a cap on such gifts if it's selling so cheaply?? for e.g up to 3 boxes per customer or something along those lines?? I WASN'T IMPRESSED!!!
(Sorry folks but just had to let it out tonight)0 -

nice of YOU to share your online find with the rest of us????:(
it's called karma0 -
^^^^ And the point of sharing when it was sold out online would be what exactly?
Established MSE'rs are generally nice to newbies - not just because of protocol but because we are genuinely nice people - but I've noticed a couple of newbie postings over the past few days that are less than full of festive cheer.
Karma dictates that if you dish it up you have to be prepared to take it.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

The OP was rude and aggressive about some " greedy" person who "cleared the shelf"
I was merely pointing out that just as she was upset over this, her own actions ( failure to point out an online price) also could have consequences
Had she pointed this out, others although sold out online may have been able to get something in their local stores
Or perhaps she wanted to keep the information to herself ???making her no less greedy than the shelf clearer
Back to lurking
By the way I'm not a newbie just not using my longstanding MSE name for personal reasons at the moment0 -
I went into superdrug yesterday at 10am (i had to lurk around, plus i still had an hr parking i wanted to use up! lol) and they had several sets for 10p. I actually double checked with the assistant!
I got:
A double Dove pack of shower gels and puff -

A Dove washbag set, white with poppers and a zip. It had deodrant, body wash and body lotion. The bag is really nice quality. Similiar to this -

And a pink and blue Impulse set with bodyspray and shower gel -

And a Lynx excite deodrant and eau de toilette -

There was also a simple facial skincare set, a mr messy set and something else i forgot. There were LOADS first thing, and several people in the store with baskets full. I doubt there would of been anything left last night! Worth keeping an eye out for these items though0
