Great News, I can't quite believe it, but I have not only received the cheque for the full amount. It has also cleared successfully and now sits back in my account.

Spoke too soon... the cheque has been returned by my Bank, stating their Bank couldn't cash the cheque.

So back to square one...

What did the cheque say when it was sent back? You might be able to present it again.

Yes, I contacted them twice. They replied via email twice promising a cheque... Never came through. Want to go through MCOL, but don't know if anyone's been successful yet...

Think hard, if the cheque hasn't cleared through lack of funds, would they have the money to pay a court judgement?

You don't want to throw good money after bad.

True, but it is possible to get bailiff's to seize all assets - and they are declared as having in excess of £600 in their bank account... Not sure which information to chuck.

Tbh, £25 just to even attempt to return everything is a small price to finally settle this, and then warn anyone else if nothing fruitful comes up
