Great thread:
My starter would be: Broccoli and stilton soup
Main: Salmon fillets with Thai Red curry butter wrapped in filo
Pud: Pear, almond and rice pie
Like most things the more you make them you, can refine them and hardly need to look at the recipe.:D0 -

Chocolate cake. It's nothing special, IMHO, but everyone says it's better than anything they can make, and I always have requests for it for cake stalls, fetes and the like. I have the recipe in my head (told you it was simple). Maybe it's my fresh hens' eggs.

Got a recipe for the soup? I hate broccoli, I hate stilton, but for some reason, I do really like broccoli and stilton soup when I go out. I don't know what it is, but the two ingredients combine very well.
Stilton is fine when it's part of a soup or a sauce, but I could never eat it as is, with biscuits, as I get a bit squeamish when I see all the 'mould'. If you could share your recipe, that would be fab, as I really do need to lose this handling cheese phobia...0
