If it was spur of the moment invitation, like friends are in my house and I say stay for tea. :D I wouldn't do first course. Second course would be pasta of some sort like lasagne & salad or HM pizza & I'd whip up a lemon delicious with custard for pudding or if I was too mellow from the wine Icecream & fruit.

Probably lasagne in general, although my current love is chow mein. For a pud it would probably be the very easy but completely luscious and almost healthy chocolate fondue, or maybe in summer eton mess (although I love the pomegranite version too for winter).

    Lasagne, anything with bolognese.

Actually corned beef stew I do tend to add ingredients into SC first thing on a morning half asleep and have to check later to see if I remembered it all, something DP always says I can do with my eyes closed.
One day I might be more organised...........

Ooohhh I don't know, things tend to vary when I cook! (scales are on the top shelf and I'm only just 5' tall - so measuring depends on whether I can be bothered to get a chair!)

Starter: Peach and parma ham salad
Main course: Slow cooked lamb and shallots, steamed savoy cabbage and potatoes
Dessert: fig and walnut ice-cream with plain tuille biscuits for the summer or a horribly calorie laden steamed syrup sponge pudding for the winter!

I really enjoy cooking - I just hate having a job where I don't have time (I'm still at work now and have been in since 7 am). I'm a very recent convert to the slow cooker so thanks for the inspiration everyone!
