Rock On Ruby won at Cheltenham today, some people even got 14/1 last week so maybe rubyru is celebrating0

The customer service in my local Sainsbos is exemplary, I can't recommend it enough.
I buy whatever I can from Lidl / Aldi and my market stall, and nip into Sainsburys for anything else, esp branded household products.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Thank you for all your replies, it's been interesting to read them. I think I will go, next week when I'm not working and I will report back.
I am a little apprehensive about it and feel but guilty for complaining but I know they were legitimate complaints but still - I start to doubt myself and think I'm making a fuss over nothing etc..
I wasn't expecting this but I think when they are being courteous enough to offer it I should be brave and do it. It will be a big thing for me though ...0 -
The reason you have been relcutant to go, I'd imagine, would be the saem for many other 'faceless moaners'.
This site encourages people to moan, moan, moan by letter and e-mail, in the hope of getting refunds/vouchers/freebies without having to do any work for it.
Now you have to go in and back up your 'legitimate complaints'. Which you are scared of.
Sometimes I hate this site - it encourages so much greed. Already i have read today about people buying 20 blocks of cheese because of a 'glitch', and moaning that Tesco isn't delivering them a new ipad for £50.Getting married to a wonderful lady on August 10, 2012.
Need to save up, lose weight, reduce my money worries and get back to being the real me! :j0 -

do make sure your report back. don't feel guilty and don't doubt yourself. i am sure all your points are good ones, and relevant to somebody.
well done and good luck, i'll be with you in spirit. if i see anybody having a walk around sainburys with a employee i'll give a big smile just in case. never know, you might enjoy it.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0 -

this is all a little harsh. OP wanted some advise, they have already stated their reluctance is due to nervousness and perceived embarrassment. some people are very shy and some tasks are harder for some than others.
please be constructive or keep quiet in this case.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0 -
Definitely go. It is a perfect opportunity to really get the manager to understand your concerns. If you don't go, they will probably disregard your complaints as just 'trying to get some vouchers' and won't take anything you said seriously. Enjoy it!0

I think he makes a really good point. I too often despair at the attitude of many on this site.
My bugbears are people whose sole mission is to pay back as little of their debts (ie money that they borrowed and had agreed to pay back) as possible, or those who believe that their desire to minimise their outgoings trumps everyone else's rights and should be prioritised regardless of situations arising where it disadvantages someone else (eg those who attempt to get out of paying for things that they have a moral duty to pay for, such as damage they have done to other people's property).
This site should be about getting the best deals, ensuring that you're treated fairly as a consumer, and making the most of what you have. It shouldn't be about wriggling out of debt repayments, abusing loopholes, and swindling other people out of money.0
