My website does provide very useful information and although at the time I was annoyed, I appreciated the fact that MSE have their rules. If they break those same rules themselves by posting links to certain commercial sites, that it their right. After all, this is their site.

CAG can also do the same.

The difference between your site Herbie and MSE and Pepipoo is that you are promoting your own site which is against the rules. MSE and Pepipoo are free advice sites and providing a link to them or mentioning them is not a breach of CAG rules, but CAG mods have given different reasons as to why they have edited the links/mention of the two sites and have not been able to give a decent explanation as to why they have taken such action.

My only substantial issue as far as CAG is concerned is the style of moderation. I have no problem with posts being moderated. Rules, as they say, is rules. However, little explanation if any is offered and there seems to be an expectation that the poster will automatically know what it is they have done wrong when that is simply not the case. And should you dare to politely ask for an explanation - to avoid any misunderstanding or preventable repetition - then this seems to be interpreted as an attack on the mods. Mods frequently have a fine line to tread - its not an easy job at the end of the day - but why make it doubly difficult by being petulent? That is not to tar all of the CAG mods with the same brush as many are easy-going and polite but there are some who sadly have quite a confrontational approach.

I have to say that this does detract from my overall sympathies for the site which is really a shame given the vast array of advice that is on offer.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I'm very disappointed, I started a thread on possible bailiff legislation, which I thought would be of use to all here. Instead all replies, bar a couple, have been about the rights and wrongs of CAG, I expected this from other parts of the forum but not here.

Google Notareargunner and he/she has been following this subject for many years.
No rights with this blog as it belong to a relative of a victim who died at the hands of a bailiff. Just an information site, with a campaign in mind.
