You can use the free PC app called Calibre to convert Kindle books to Kobo format i.e. epub

I use it to convert Kindle books for my Nook.

Only a suggestion. I intended it as a helpful remark, as I think a Kobo thread would be useful for people who don't want to convert books. As I don't have a Kobo, I am never likely to find free Kobo books, but I know there are lots of Kobo users here, especially after the £29 one went on sale. I genuinely didn't mean to cause offence.

As already suggested, it would be much more helpful if you posted more details about the book rather than just a link. There are thousands of free books available for Kindle, so some idea of why you are suggesting these particular ones would be very useful.

Also, just a reminder that this thread was originally intended for time-limited special offers on kindle (other than the regular daily deal), which are much harder to spot than the freebies.

Helpful though your posts are, would it be possible to add the title and author of each book? :)

If you click the link, it shows the title.

I don`t see your name amongst the "thanks".
Maybe if they`re that helpful you`d click it now and again. :)

So sorry, 2010, I forgot to thank you for for your posts. I'm afraid I didn't know much about the posts because I didn't click on the links. There were no details in any of your posts as to what they led to, and I tend not to click on links unless I know where they're going to take me. I had no idea you were counting 'thanks' but if it's so important to you, I'll thank some of your posts specially.

My point (which I think I put gently and politely) was that it's considered normal, and courteous, to give a brief description of an item, rather than just displaying a link. It saves people having to click through if it's something they have no interest in. Entirely up to you, of course - but users of this thread might find it helpful, and that's what MSE is all about, isn't it?

In the interests of wider access to free Kindle books, forgive me for reposting a link to the 100 free Kindle bestsellers on the Amazon website - it offers a wide choice of free books, and you can, of course, make your own choices as to which you want to get:
