Just priced same holiday up with Olympic holidays - came to £1188.80 for HALF BOARD!

So that's a saving of £156 - and all inclusive on top!!

I think this might be the way to go, although flying from London isn't the best :( when I live in doncaster.

Any more help would be much appreciated..

It's my first holiday and want it as cheap as possible :) But also want a nice hotel.

I've read some reviews about the Al Diwan on trip advisor - they were all good apart from one horror story! And it's put me off

been to sharm a few times - the Hilton (dreams) in Naama bay is great (b&b) - nicer than the Movenpick IMO- the food out there is cheap and lots of choice also.

Been bargain hunting all morning and I'm VERY pleased with myself! Managed to find return flights from london - with thomson believe it or not - for £230 each! On sun july 29th!

    Any advance on that?

Next problem is getting to london gatwick from doncaster for about 8 / 9 in the morning.

Are you sure they are that cheap as i have just checked Thomson and for the dates you say they are coming out at £524 pp from Gatwick and £484pp from Luton.

I think I got a bit overexcited and looked at the prices wrong. Rather misleading on the website. The link for £193, from manchester, is :

    http://booking.thomsonfly.com/thomsonfly/searchFlightOnly.do?AD=THF&originAirport=MAN&destAirport=SSH&departureDay=31&departureMonth=07&departureYear=2007&arrivalDay=14&arrivalMonth=08&arrivalYear=2007&numAdults=2&numChildren=0&numInfants=0&travelType=roundTrip

It says, return £193.68. But when you go to buy it, it tells you that £193 is each way. So costs about £800 in total :(

    I'm right fed up now.

I'm really confused. I've been searching for prices all morning, and the cheapest I've found for all inclusive 2 weeks is £1091 for Sonesta Club. Saving of about £500 from tour operators.

BUT. Is it worth it? I'd have to drive or take train all way down to london, probably stay in a hotel over night cos flight is so early.

My friend told me that last year she stayed in St George's Three Corners hotel, which is a lovely one, all inclusive, 2 weeks, with insurance, for £1100 for 2 people! WITH THOMSON! And that was booking in jan for july.

I don't get it. Is it cheaper booking diy, or last minute, or with a tour operator early?

Cos I've prices up st. georges hotel diy, and its £1302. Hmm...

She said she went in to the high st, but I've priced it up on thomson website and its no where near.. Help!
