I'm on O2 and to my delight, my inclusive mins means I do not get charged for 0800, 0870, 0845 or 0744 calls

Which tariff are you on to get calls to these numbers within your inclusive minutes?

You could always sell it on Ebay, Everyday 50 contracts usually fetch a good price. I sold mine last year when I switched to PAYG and I got 60 pounds for it. It was just a case of transferring the contract details with Orange to the buyer. Here is one that recently sold on ebay

Had been thinking about that. Was it straight forward to sort out the transfer?

It was very easy. As soon as the buyer has paid you just ring Orange on an 0800 number and tell them you want to transfer the contract, giving them the buyers name & address. The buyer then needs to ring the same number to confirm their details. Orange will then give you a date when the transfer will be completed. The buyer can keep the existing phone number and you send them the SIM or they can have a new number/SIM, which Orange will supply to the buyer at a small charge.
