Everyday 50 contract

Why don’t you switch to other contract with Orange?0
-
Yea, you can transfer the sim to someone else. You have to call up orange customer services and tell them the situation. They give you an 0800 number if I remember right and once you are ready to transfer the sim to someone else, they do a credit check on the recepient. If everything goes ok, then sim is put in their names.0

Or you could use the services of QXDial every weekday evening to accumulate points. You can then use your points to make free calls during the day or to other mobiles.

(No connection with QXDial)

Set yourself up an 0870 number with Deltaphone (£10) forwarding to a VOIP landline number provided by Sipgate. You'll be able to earn £9 per month in revenue from your account simply by "burning off" the unwanted 50 minutes each evening!0

Except that 0870 and 0845 numbers are not included in Free minutes from ANY provider as far as im aware.0 -
When you say someone else do you mean another network provider or another person?
If another network just ring up 150 from your phone and get a PAC code. Go for less minutes but get cross network and it should give you a cheaper bill and brand new handset!

O2 still include them on the majority of contracts, but reports elsewhere on the board suggest that certain online conttacts exclude them. You are dead right in respect of T-Mob and Voda. 3 have a hit-and-miss policy.
My suggestion was somewhat tongue in cheek, as the rental on Everyday 50 would exceed the benefits, but it may be a useful way of exploiting the generous linetime on this type of contract. I certainly mop up any excess on my 02 PUFFL accounts, at up to 3p per minute.0 -
Sorry, for being unclear. I meant transferring the sim to another person.
Thanks for replies0 -
you can transfer the contract to someone else, it would mean them being credit checked. Orange may say that you have to change tarifs though as it would be classed as a new connection so you would probably lose ED50.
Best way just call 150 from your phone and get them to change the direct debit details to that persons name. and you can even have the billing address changed to theirs as well.

I'm on O2 and to my delight, my inclusive mins means I do not get charged for 0800, 0870, 0845 or 0744 calls - just as well they gave me double mins for first 3 months as will be needing them in that case as calling India & Pakistan daily at the mo just discussing the cricket!
Oh yes, & half price line rental for 7 months too on my new mobile!0
