I need to iron. I'm getting nowhere fast...it's the clutter everywhere. I know it's temporary but I am really beginning to grasp just how big an impact living in a mess must have on one's psyche...it's overwhelming!
Anyway DD is helping re-home stuff in the kitchen. We have bought tiles for the floor and the wall. The tile firm promised me an e mail with a 10% discount though it could take up to 48 hours. Didn't get it! I asked for, and got, the 10% discount anyway, plus the refund for returing the sample tiles.
DD helped me haul them into the house (DS was at football).

    durr me!

Poor DS1's GF...not able to share her baby with her mum and losing her mum so close to mother's day.

I'm in although getting in early for next week.

I have a week off from the day job so will get on with the other job i.e. sorting, flinging and cleaning.

BTW anyone know how Ladyliberty and Toots are doing, not seen a post from either here for a while?

Ironing all done, just need to match socks.

Triker not heard from Toots so hoping all in ok, but it appears from FB that Lady Liberty is in need of hugs. Thinking of you both.

know the feeling. Just keep reminding yourself it will be over soon and go out as much as possible.

    Not enough ironing? :p:D
  • HHI or two or three needed - anyone fancy joining me from 8?

Just found out we have visitors x 3 next weekend , x2 is fine and easy, x 3 requires a bit of reorganising - so guess what I'll b doing each evening...promise to declutter as I go, honest!

Debating HHI or HHP, think I'm going for a HHP as the ironing will take longer to finish.

On the plus side the kitchen is spotless bar the floor, living room is tidy bar the bags of paperwork and hall is tidy bar the boxes of nappies to be returned to Tesco and a huge bag go clothes to go to the clothes bank.

Spare room is a dumping ground, but staying that way till after Easter as I am NOT having the inlaws stay with me as I am fed up of MIL drinking.
