    :T Serena! Good to see you posting.

    Lots of washing done, bed sheets changed, DW filled twice, hens cleaned out and lots of gardening.

    CY - if your hoover has no suction it could be the fan belt has gone? They are widely available to buy but fiendishly difficult to fit:(

    I've not done any flying. We've been celebrating FIL's 80th birthday for the last two days and its very time consuming!

    There will be discord tomorrow as DH will ask where his Mum's present is. I will tell him it is in the shop waiting for him to buy it.

    The boys football is early tomorrow morning. Rain is forecast so I think I will stay in bed. I saw my Mum today and she's very delicate having had a bit of a bombshell dropped on her on Thursday. She respected my wishes not to talk about it at the party but she's reeling with shock and I need to spend some time with her. I know she's bad because my SF drove today and he never passes up the opportunity to drink.

    I hope all Mothers have a lovely day with their families and are spoilt rotten x

    girls have done me proud for mother's day, but as DS was thrown into a police van last night you will understand that I am NOT happy! A brief conversation this morning has confirmed that he thinks it wasn't his fault, but his description tells us it was.....

    However I haven't stuffed my face as an emotional response - i decluttered 4 miles instead of my usual 2!

    I am going to find today very hard I think...

    CY.. I had to giggle.. sorry.. but the 'thinks it wasn't his fault' amused me.. my oldest is the same.. we have a running joke about his excuses for everything.. ninja's dropping out of trees, abducted by aliens, had to turn into the caped crusader Captain Dangerous and take on the swarms of invading bullsh-poop flies!!! He once told us he had been hit in the head with an axe when in fact he had for some unknown reason headbutted a wall!

    Serena hi, nice to see you!:hello:
    Mumto5 I hope things sort themselves out, and that you and your Mum can both enjoy Mothers Day.

    CY :eek::eek::eek: @ DS.

    Mr LW has done the weekly check of the car (wash bottle, tyres, lights, oil etc) and given the greenhouse a quick inspection (I hope it's all OK - he's no gardener, and I haven't been in there myself for months!):cool: He's got the ironing to do in a bit - when I can prize him away from the GameSpy website.:D

    Dylan is currently decluttering loads of zzzzz.:rotfl:
    If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Mostly did the garden yesterday, today trying to sort the house.

    WM and DW on. Cloakroom and back hall done. Made a start on the kittchen including shining one sink and making a start on the hob but I am bored now.

    Anyone care to join me for HHC?
