My in laws treated me to a new wm - the idea was to get a quiet one so that when dh came home from the hosp he wouldn't be disturbed and it also has the medic cycle for extra hygiene. Even when we found out he wouldn't be coming home, they still insisted, bless them :A

It is a fab machine, I have a 30min cycle for just freshening, and even a 14min light rinse cycle - I washed dds nursery pumps on this they came out fab, and not overdone and ruined like a full wash would.

Needless to say, thanks to all the sickys today, it has been on overtime. I have a huge pile of clean wet stuff ready for the line, hope it's dry tomorrow.

I'm absolutely done in, those tots have just wanted to sit on me all day, had one or other on my hip whilst sorting sicky washing yuk

Greenbee - what hoover did you get? I'm fed up with mine too, so maybe when I get offered a job I'll splash out. I have to hold the cable in a certain position for it to work, which is a real pain considering you have to push it back and forth.
    Hope you feel better soon.

Time to start on dinner: fish pie and brocolli. I will do the kitchen floor too while waiting for things to cook.

greenbee I hope the water leak is soon stopped.
Leak is stopped - carpenter's dad came over and sorted everything. He will fix the pipe tomorrow and they'll leave the boards up for a few days so that I can run the heating and make sure there are no problems. His dad also cleaned up the sitting room, and even offered to take the towels home and wash them, but I declined as I don't like washing powder.

Can I come over for fish pie and broccoli. I'm having poppadums, cheese and frozen yogurt...

Greenbee... it fits a 9tog KS and 9 tog SKS in but my 10.5 KS didn't go in
That would work - my KS is in two bits, and the small bit goes in my ancient 5kg machine, so the big bit should be fine in there :) Not that I want it to die. I've had enough excitement for the moment.

Dyson cylinder - DC20 I think. Not everyone likes the, but I do. Fits in half a kitchen cupboard and has lots of gadgets. Deals with pretty much everythiing...

my Super-KS unpops into 2 so both bits fit in.. it is quite wonderful.. especially as I spill everything and am generally grotty.

DD2 has done a fabulous job of the bathroom.. might set her to task in the rest of the house!

DDs 3 and 4 out to a friends tomorrow 1-5.. so I can get some flinging done in relative peace.. There is so much needs doing in here.

Bathroom and bedroom clean. Three boys rooms and the landing to be done tomorrow before I leave the house. DH can hoover the living room and I'll just give that a quick dust over.

Off to bed with my book in a minute.
