Got rehearsals to think about now, only a week and a bit until the next gig; possibly something this weekend, but not sure yet. If not, maybe next week :)

Loving hearing about the new kitchen.
Hello to newbies and returnees that I've not "met"
I've been hopeless this week with the lists and it's now Friday- plan to make up for it with basics covered between now and Monday and a fresh start on Monday's list and my "week 9" flying ( fluttering)
Need to fly not lurk seeing what everybody is up too:( Maybe limit myself to iPad time! Need to be hard on myself although these MSE forums are addictive to somebody as nosey as me!

Seafarers_wife hope Ben has a better night. Remember to look after yourself too, snooze when you can :-)

    Morning all!

Got NOTHING done yesteday - but we did have a lovely day out with my mum at the needlework show at Olympia, it's the first coach trip she's made to London since she moved to Hampshire - a 3 hour trip including stops - not bad for an 82 year old! She has some mobility issues so was glad we were there. She's been poorly lately, and very 'down', given the family bereavements recently, so it was nice she had something to look forward to! The show was well worth a visit too, it's a couple of years since we've been to one and it was absolutely packed with lovely stuff and not too busy - there was an exhibition of quilts too, which was excellent. We didn't buy too much stuff either!

Well I did get one load of washing done and dried, and the WM got some attention - it's all clean and sparkly now, just the soap drawer to scrub (won't take long! Plus the dailies - everything looks nice in a few minutes now.

Will see what I can catch up on later today - not much washing to do as I try to keep on top of it and get the ironing done on a Friday night now - I used to spend Saturday nights ironing! :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day! :)

Oh dear. I suspect not much flying above basic today.

DS is obviously still chickeny and DD has had 4 grotty nappies since yesterday lunchtime, and now just waddled in and I said "have you finished your milk?" she nodded and burped at the same time, and said milk came back out again, all down her pjs and the side of the bed. Great.

Am so hoping it was just the burp, but i suspect with the nappies as they are, that might not be the last of it.

So, my bed has just been stripped for the second time this week! Including the mattress topper.

Might get them in the wm ASAP then out on the line, could be dry for tonight!

So we are spotty and grotty here, yuk!

    Happy flying x

Morning all, it's been raining here this morning so i'm hoping the plasterer will be out today. He did say if it rained he couldn't do outside work so would fit me in. If he does come today it means i can go and get a date for the new floors..:D:D:D

Kids still all dosed up and have awful coughs and i think i've got it now too. Rhys spent his first night back in his own bed but somehow ended up in bed with DS2..:rotfl:

Right i better get everyone some meds, get dw on and reload wm. Bins need to be left down too.

Thanks Hex, it's nice to be back again..:D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Morning all. I haven't posted for a while but have been checking the lists. After completing the lists a fortnight ago, I got a bit behind last week as had to work really long hours. This week has been busy at work too, and I took a day out to see friends and wasn't feeling great yesterday, sooooo... not a lot done this week. Have vacuumed (vital with the dogs), cleaned bathroom (difficult as plugholes are blocked), cleaned master bedroom and hall, stairs and landing, and have polished all glass through the house (except windows). The weekend will be just vacuuming, and I notice that ebay is free listing so may spend some time on that. Have a good weekend all, off to work now.
Spend less now, work less later.
