It might help if you explained what it actually was
Allow me
It the CABs' take on how UC is going impact different groups. http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/iss...-_briefing.pdfThis briefing covers:
A brief introduction into how UC is structured.
How extra support for disabled people is going to be incorporated into UC.
Five tables indicating in the following groups who we believe will gain and who will lose from UC compared to support in the current means tested system:
adults in the support group
adults in the work related activity group working less than 16 hours
adults with significant impairment but found fit for work under WCA
families with children receiving higher rate care or severely visually impaired children
families of children in receipt of DLA (except those receiving higher rate of care component and severely visually impaired children).
It's a very interesting read

Sorry but that is one subject I refuse to get to know! I'm not interested - I'll be 65 in 2014 so its one for the bin unfortunately.
Am I so glad that I'm not 30 years younger - it is only now that I realise how good the 60's to the 90's were to us.
I lived in a better country, had more freedom and houses/jobs were plentiful.
Everyone that I know owned two homes, secure employment - changing jobs every 3/4 years to improve prospects and salary.
We had the best that this country has ever been able to offer.
Roll on 2014 and I draw my State Pension currently at £183.87 a week and two fingers up to the rest of them!0 -

And on the other hand...I'm sick with worry about what the future holds for my adult disabled son.
I'm glad you are not affected by the worsening economy, but did no one ever tell you it's not nice to brag? Especially amongst people who will be affected?Herman - MP for all!

Thanks for the link, OP. It's the first clear indication I've found of how UC will affect us (disabled son receiving MR care DLA) - we'll be £1400pa worse off. Not good as the shortfall won't be made up elsewhere.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
