Thanks Karma. 1P surveys blitzed - at £22.45 now - not far to go!

 We’ve decided to have takeaway tonight - not very frugal Jan, but it’s been a long week. In the interests of tidying, I’ve also polished off the last of the Apple Pie Baileys… don’t worry, there’s still two whole bottles of normal Bailey’s in the cupboard (one of those situations where people discover something you like and give you way too much of it!). DH is working on some ‘not very nice’ gin. Yes, I know it’s early…. But it’s been a long week!!

There’s too much to store in our small spirits cupboard! (Especially combined with all of DH’s gins)

No. 1 was too small (especially garden), as expected. No. 2 just wasn’t for us. Both really liked no. 3 and have made an offer, but so have at least 4 others, so we’re unlikely to get it. So it goes…. We’ll wait and see!

Thanks ladies. I doubt very much we’ll have put in the highest offer, but maybe the fact we’re ready to go will help.

I think that often does help, fingers crossed! Is it best and final, is there a set date? Or will you be waiting while they go back and forth between you all?

I think they’ll be doing best and final on Tuesday after we’ve all had a chat with the agent’s mortgage adviser to check we have enough money to make such offers.
