Morning all,
The sun is shining here today and I've just finished up the few bits of work I had so I'd better get out to the shed for the rest of the morning. Had a lovely walk somewhere new with Mum, Sis and Niece yesterday afternoon and then a cuppa in Sis's garden, which is still a novelty 8 months after she moved in!
Lunch today will be broccoli and stilton soup for DH and carrot and lentil for me. We've got bimbimbap for dinner tonight (Korean dish), which will help to use up some of the surfeit of veg!
MS things:
* Clicks done
* Comps entered (including one to win £100k - that would be nice, wouldn't it?!)
* Small job on platform just completed (whilst writing this)
* Meals sorted and avoided takeaway last night, even though we really couldn't be bothered - so glad we had lazy food in the freezer!
Gratitudes:
* Lovely walk with family yesterday - so nice to find somewhere new!
* Long hot shower - I was so cold when I got back!
* A good night's sleep
Have a good day all!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Ha, yes, £100k would be lovely!
I know what you mean about novelty - my sister moved house last summer - last week was only the second time I've been, and Mr Cheery hasn't been at all! Funny old time.
Sun is just starting to emerge here too, but it's still freezing, so indoor jobs mostly for me now...7 -
£100k, and somewhere new, lovely! Bimbimbap is an amazing name, by the way2023: the year I get to buy a car4

Afternoon all,
Sadly no luck with the £100k prize! Had a good weekend, continuing with shed building. The weather was miserable on Saturday but we managed to crack on yesterday. It just needs the roof finishing (have borrowed BIL's staple gun), a second coat of paint and then a door (I have got the ironmongery required for that now). We had to stop yesterday because of the arrival of snow, hail, snow pellets and thunder and lightning - tricky to paint in that!
Nabbed a few jobs on the platform this morning, which is good as it was pretty quiet otherwise. Have just sent my phone off for repair - the 4G/mobile data doesn't work, which is becoming more of an issue now we're out and about a bit more. It's insured (Flexplus account), so it'll only cost the excess. I feel lost without it though, although I have DH's old phone for the interim.
MS things:
* Food from our plentiful stores - the aforementioned bimbimbap, prawn laksa and toad in the hole over the weekend.
* Free bread from Olio collected on Friday
* Clicks done
* Carrot and lentil soup for lunch today
Gratitudes:
* Loan of BIL's staple gun and terrifying but useful circular saw
* DH's help with the shed
* Sunshine and snow this morning - looking forward to warmer weather!

Afternoon all,
Currently sat outside the vets waiting for an update. Naughty ginger cat ate the wire on a pair of headphones last night (at least think it was then). They're trying to get him to vomit it up at the moment. Of course, humans still aren't allowed into the surgery, hence waiting in the car. If he does produce it, they'll x-ray him... Glad he's insured but still concerned for him. Of course, had i not noticed the headphones (remnants of), we'd be oblivious - he was his normal self and wolfed down breakfast as usual!
Collected an excellent haul from Olio earlier and have some work i should be getting on with - should have grabbed my laptop on the way out the door! Sis and niece were meant to be picnicking in garden before a walk together but think not now.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
