May get a few quid for the processor & board, but is it really worth the hassle of breaking it down and selling a cpl of parts only to be left the rest of it.

Wipe the hard drive, put it on freecycle, some one will happly take it off your hands.
Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j
  • Anyone giving away laptops then? I'll be happy to take one

I rang all the obvious charities nearly 12 mths ago to get rid of my old PC when I moved house......... no charity would entertain less than a Pentium3 and Oxfam would only take laptops!!

cause of all the silly new rules re electrical safety. charities have to test anything electrical, before resale. by a qualified sparks too.
by time they do all that, there no money in it.
most lappys still bring good money though. (and they are low voltage too).
    Get some gorm.
