    1 x S's ext thick double cream £1.28

Also on my list (as have ran out) was the Napolina Ex Virgin Olive Oil but as wasn't on S's website it was half price at T's £3.24 and checked S's was £6.49 but couoldn't add to this shop as wld have taken me over the £10 so will try and do another shop for this:j HTH someone elses shop unfortunately went to print the bold coupon said already printed but not sure I had cos haven't printed coupons for a while from there but the £1.50 was a S's TS for this product hence the purchase knowing it was 1/2 price at T's:D;)

I am around FV, for now anyway, been busy printing MOC's ;);) but hoping for an early night. Couldn't sleep last night so had a long day and now feeling tired, so going to have a warm bath, then off to bed for a quick read, before hopefully closing my eyes.

I would like August month to go away:(:(:(:(:( this month is not a good month for me:(

    1) Had a run in with tekco
    2) DS1 - 1st yr 6th form results crap!!!!:mad::mad: not happy:(

and worse of all current bad news :(

DD1 lappy hasn't been working for the last god knows how long. So on Wed, I told OH to take it to the shop I know ( we already had 1 repaired previously ), OH went to the shop it was shut:mad:, so called them went there again & nobody's around!:mad:

I told OH if no joy get back to me & I know somebody else who can do it. But MY GOD!!! did he call me? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He decided to use bl00dy yellow pages ad instead:mad::mad::mad:

The hassle he has put me through:( Their website - invalid, their 0845 number on the form (which my OH signed without reading it:eek::mad:) looks like a sharing number with other company:eek:

They rang us wanted to charge £160 for repair, I said no, OH told them that I want the lappy back, instead they said we can reduce the cost to £100 then to £85 ( did not tell us that they going to change the harddrive to a lowest memory for that price until my DD1 asked them) - and as a matter of principality I said no, I want my lappy back & had a big fallout and to cut the long story short.

They are holding us at ransom now. They are going to charge us £45 call out fee when their yellow pages said no call out charge:mad: if I want my lappy back Or we could wait 7 days before they can return the lappy which by then they would have taken a lot of personal info from my DD1 lappy which I am not happy.

Had spoken to my boss & a proper genuine pc man & he suggested that I just pay them the call out charge & get the lappy back.

It's not that I can't afford to pay them, it is the way they do business. Will get OH to report to trading standard as we don't think the police can do anything for us.

That doesn't sound good :(They can say no call out fee but did they say free quote or estimate? If it just says no call out charge, then they can legitimately charge you for assessing the lappy as this would not be considered call out. More and more firms are doing this because people get the firm to diagnose the issue for free but then get it done elsewhere cheaper so the firm have lost on time and money. It sounds like they are now charging for call out because they want to get some money. Legally they are allowed to do this and trading standards can't do diddly squat

I was after the nappies, lenor pure, fairy &ariel mainly. I use always. Will I send a SAE to you?

    Thanks CM :) x

Are the nappies, lenor pure, fairy & ariel on SSM? Might be able to print a few for you esp the nappies as know not used/printed a coupon for them.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

FV i think everyone goes thru times when xmas etc is just too much espech if it brings sadness as well as happyness i spend months (prob most of the year) stashing and buying and picking up on hints and OH goes out in the week b4 xmas to see what he can find (last year got mobile phone which by boxing day he had decided he liked so he has used ever since, sometimes makes you wonder why we bother but must admit one thing that always gets me ready for xmas is the sains half price toy sale which is in abt 8 weeks i think. always gets me sorted big style for neices nephs kids etc.

    CM

    Too true CM

Sorry to hear about DS Doc, for what it's worth I did carpy in my a-levels (proper) - I vividly recall our form tutor telling us all our predicted grades for our results right at the start of our first year, I was told I'd get max B for History despite getting a* for GCSE - put my back up for the whole two years (thought if I can't get top marks what's the point?) - that and a little too much socialising = carpy grades. However, still got into uni, doing a course I wanted and got one of the top grades so don't despair.

Must be carpy aug month - mine turned decidely pants too - the kind where i'd like to crawl under a nice dark rock and stay there like, forever :(:(

    hope you are ok kerri?

Doc, don't be so hard on your son. My friend has 2 daughters, both did badly in their results yesterday despite both getting extra tuition paid for by their parents, and getting good grades throughout the year. But all their friends got bad grades too.

Last time I heard of this, it was a whole batch of schools whose pupils all got worse grades then they were predicted.

Isn't it something like so many have to be failed each year and so many passed?

So glad they are getting rid of GCSEs and bringing back O Levels. Much better and fairer system.
