Morning all. Bit late this morning as watched 2 hours of catch up TV and cut the lawns!

Doc - sorry to hear about your lappy and DS results. Very often, although results not good at the time, it is the kick up the backside they need to realise they do have to work hard to get good results.

Had a few spots of rain early on, but sun shining at the moment. Think we have rain forecast for lunchtime though.

I deliberatly avoided the gift sets today as think more people aware and targeting gift sets so more likely to be unfulfilled so have ordered 2 make up brushes and just placed another for shimmer cube and mascara:j .

Was hoping FV had a look as would have placed an order for her if she wasn't up this morning then could have passed it on to you when in Leeds.

    Hi AH,

Thank you for your offer :A:A it seems everything is nearly OOS so don't worry, I was getting them for gift's and to be honest I don't know what I was thinking. Christmas I used to love love it now it is just another day. I am always prepared months before Christmas - prided myself on it tbh but not any more. I don't even know where to start :(

    oh doc

they say bad things come in threes so you should be finished with carpy august now. i think best thing to do maybe to pay as others have said just to get the lappy back unharmed then report them to your local trading standards etc.

Just checked my junky email address and i won one of the weetabix tins Yay, only a little win but will be perfect for keeping bubsies breakfast in.

FV i think everyone goes thru times when xmas etc is just too much espech if it brings sadness as well as happyness i spend months (prob most of the year) stashing and buying and picking up on hints and OH goes out in the week b4 xmas to see what he can find (last year got mobile phone which by boxing day he had decided he liked so he has used ever since, sometimes makes you wonder why we bother but must admit one thing that always gets me ready for xmas is the sains half price toy sale which is in abt 8 weeks i think. always gets me sorted big style for neices nephs kids etc.

also FV did you want the always mocs of ssm ? as dont buy these, were there others ?

Awh Doc what an awful month you have had :( I hope things improve real soon for you xx

Well done on your win CM :)

CM, I was just like you, my Christmas shopping started in January during the sales with cards & wrapping paper. Then throughout the year I bought things (especially the Sainsbury's 1/2 price toy sale) oops just saw you wrote that too!!

I was after the nappies, lenor pure, fairy &ariel mainly. I use always. Will I send a SAE to you?

    Thanks CM :) x

Just done this BM shop at S's as had a couple of BM and TS coupons

    4 x 2ltr S's spring water £1.50
    1 x H&Shoulders for men 500ml £4.99 T's £3
    1 x Bold crystal Rain 888g £7.19 T's £3.59
    4 x Alberto Ult strong gel £3.20 ? couldn't find it on T's:j
    3 x Andrex washlettes £5.64 T's £3
    1 x S's Belgian chocolate spread £1.48
    1 x S's ext thick double cream £1.28
    Daily mail 55p
    1 x 6pck Mccoys variety £1 T's 92p
    2 x S's raspberries £2 or 2 for £3
2 x reggie reggie pasty (hot counter) £3.20
    1 x whole chicken(hot counter) £4.39

    Total £37.42 - £3.74 SD £6.95 BM £10 BM £1.50 coupon 4 x 50p coupons PAID £13.23 BM back £8.31, oh yeah and 502 nector pts worth £2.50

Took gamble with the hair gel as DH uses this and had to spend £8 on hair products for 300 nector pts couldn't find it on T's but knew it was previously 80p several weeks back so these were all wanted/needed but went through TS coupons ie the belgian chocolate spread & the McCoys crisps and anything else we added was S's own brand so knew shouldn't mess with the figures.

Also on my list (as have ran out) was the Napolina Ex Virgin Olive Oil but as wasn't on S's website it was half price at T's £3.24 and checked S's was £6.49 but couoldn't add to this shop as wld have taken me over the £10 so will try and do another shop for this:j HTH someone elses shop unfortunately went to print the bold coupon said already printed but not sure I had cos haven't printed coupons for a while from there but the £1.50 was a S's TS for this product hence the purchase knowing it was 1/2 price at T's:D;)
