thank you mt for the hayfever post I have been "suffering" (I shouldnt even use that word in light of what other ppl have going on on this thread!) today.
Farmville have you considered getting the baby purees? Ella's Kitchen fruit purees are nice, with your little one being 6 she might feel a bit silly but at least she will get a bit of food inside her: may be a bit acidic though? Let MSE go out the window while she recovers and stock up on ready made mash, tesco also do a carrot and potato mash, mushy peas, will post if I have any more ideas. If she is going to be like this for a while try Complan (milkshake with added protein or something or other, comes in plain/choc/strawberry) from pharmacy or boots, then at least you can be sure she is not missing out on other parts of her diet what with her being so young and growing. Yoghurt drinks at room temperature is another idea: dairy is quite soothing I find for bad teeth. Either water down some value yoghurt (you can add bit of salt) or you can get large size unsweetened yoghurt drinks from corner shops/Middle Eastern style supermarkets. As one of the other posters said, reconstruction is truly amazing these days and tbh when things happen young to kids they will adapt and cope with whatever comes. She has a lovely mum who will support and nurture her every step of that way, hopefully that path will not be as hard as you are fearing right now.
wish i could courier you over a large cup of hot sweet tea!or post a picture of one like the other clever ppl on here
PM really glad it went ok for you today. Your medication regime sounds like it needs a maths degree to work out. In my old job working with older people with mental health issues they used to ship over a blister pack, filled by pharmacist each week which opened out and had each medication name and description (yellow oval, eg) which was a godsend for me who was hairing round the countryside dishing out crazily named meds without any qualifications like they were smarties. You could just chuck the pack at end of week and blame pharmacist if it wasnt filled correctly!
Jeferey good luck being a bystander in ppl you love's operations will be thinking of you.
Hope everybody else who hasn't had quite as much drama is also getting on ok: thoughts hugs and tea to everyone. I made some green tea ice lollies today, not road tested yet so won't offer those! Anyway, over and out with the essay, back to work tomorrow so hope everyone has as good days as is possible atm xx0 -
KCF the meds are pretty complex to say the least, sounds like your previous job had lots of stroys through out your time there.
Off to bed now
Night all.
