OH FV it's heartbreaking:(:(:(.
Was going to say thought the school would have atleast had someone contacting you beforehand to see how she was at the hospital or the head have the decency to visit at the hospital as so serious. So looks like there was a communication problem at school with his staff let's hope now he knows he will be attentive to sorting out the problems and making sure can never happen to another child, and offering any help or guidance you need on your dear daughters recovery. It does sound like the school are geniunely just as shocked:(:(:(
What a nightmare for you and how are her brothers and sisters reacting to their dear sister as I am sure they may be shocked too.
FV do remember though it may be a long journey for DD but it is amazing what the Docs can do in cosmetic surgery these days. Will be praying for her :A:A:A0 -
Thanks for kind wishes on auntie front - still no news - this waiting is a killer...
Glad the school contacted you FV - really feel for her.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

Giving you lots of *hugs*

Afternoon all, what a busy lot you have been posting since yesterday afternoon.
FV - glad DD op went well, but wanted to send hugs to you all anyway. Make sure you find some time to look after yourself as well as sounds like DD will be needing lots of cuddles and hugs too.
Jeferey – hope all goes well with the aunt’s ops.
PM – can you keep a note in a diary of what to take and when and tick them off as you take them? Hope things settle down quickly for you so you can fully concentrate on the wedding.
DWW – have sent off for dog MOC’s for you
AH – have requested a DN sample. Just used a different e mail from last time
(((Hugs))) to anyone else needing them0 -
Oh jeferey waiting is the worse hope you hear soon:A
Thanks SND how are you by the way and any more news about help for your mum especially re answering the door:A Not sure if you noticed the post about the Viakal green on offer at T's 2 for £4 if you still had the coupons the green doesn't compare with A's who don't have green on their site only the blue at £1 but pretty sure blue does compare well did while back0 -
SnD I hope your ok? I do try and keep a note of what to take when but with a high dose of anti depressant I often get confused and forget to write it down. Also as my body isn't very stable at all the meds often changed each time I got to the hospital.

Adoption/new home needed.... I would like to give away
No! not Poppy:cool:
new home for x 2 £5 wys £40 @ tekco valid from 26/7 till 5/8, if you are smart you get the £5 off your shopping for less than £15 to £20 (the rest bought wrong stuff!):rotfl: as I don't intend to shop at T any longer, I am trying to use up all my JTDs then am off back to Asda since tekco capped the JTd to £10 & its just wasting me time.
FV, time to call no win no fee for me niece accident.

@ MT - thanks for the cake linky, it was already out on my gmail the newsletter yesterday am.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
FV would it help if your DD lay on the settee with a cushion behind her, when you try to feed her. Then gravity is helping abit. As AH said drs do work wonders and it is early days yet. Do remember to take advantage of any help, so you don't make yourself ill.0

Oh, so much to remember, too hot, my head hurts!
FV - I can feel your anguish through your written words and would gladly take away your pain; earlier this year Amelia (DD3 aka Millie) had a trampolene collision and we had a 3 day stay at Bristol Childrens Hospital with suspected skull fracture. She had in fact fractured a bone behind her ear which explained the fluid loss from her ear but she made a quick and full recovery thank goodness. The waiting times are almost unbearable, and the maternal instinct to shoulder little ones' fear and pain weigh heavy on your shoulders. Im relieved for you that her op went as well as it could and can only echo what others have commented that dentistry has come a long long way and hopefully it will have a positive outcome. As to follow up with the school it would seem from your updated post that at least you have some initial contact. I would definately agree that this needs to be followed up asap with a formal letter. I don't think at this stage you need to be very wordy, coupon woman posted previously with a straight to the point option and I think in the first instance this is the way to go.
However, for our own records I would write down a chronology of what has happened to date, including dates and times where applicable and conversations you have had with the school and medical team. In time, this precision fades, better to write this down now before you forget.
As it is the school holidays it may be advisable to contact the Local Authority with regard to the school and log the incident with them.
Jeferey – hope both your auntie-in-laws' ops have gone well.
PM – How did today go?
DWW – I would like to say Ive sent off for a poochy sample for you but have a pooch myself, sorry but I have requested the dry nites for you AH. 8-11 is that right?
Nice to see some new names on here.
Apologies if Ive missed anyone, love and hugs to all who need them right now... xmagsxLove, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x0
